Admissions for Undergraduate Programs

From Academic Year 2025/26 onwards, applicants can first be admitted to the School of Engineering via school-based admission or directly to the Department of Industrial Engineering and Decision Analytics. Students may declare their major in BEng in Decision Analytics or BEng in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management after their first year of study at HKUST.

Expected Scores and Flexible Admissions Arrangement 2026
